Ramghar Lake is very good excursion its Situated 25 km. north east of Jaipur, Ramgarh is popular for its huge artificial lake. The lake was created by constructing a high bund amidst tree covered hills. Ramgarh Lake draws large number of tourists from all over Rajasthan. The white temple of Jamwa Mata and the ruins of the old fort are some of its antiquities, its stunning landscape, especially in monsoons, make it an idyllic picnic spot.

One of the most interesting options that you can try in Ramgarh is boating (October-June). Ramgarh Lake is around 4 kms in length and 2 kms in width, big enough to please the crowds.
Another attraction at Ramgarh is the Polo grounds, located between the Aravalli Hills and Ramgarh Lake. This Ground is considered as India's best Polo ground. Finely groomed, this ground has the best trained horses unlike anywhere. At present, though the original structures are in ruins, still the beautiful scenery of Ramgarh, makes it a relaxing picnic spot and worth a visit.
